Got the curry train from Newcastle last night and what a fantastic experience met some lovely people along the way, loved the food and service and an easy 5 from us
One of the best Indian restaurants we have been too!nnThe location is excellent. The exterior is really nice and well presented. The welcoming lounge, entrance area is so inviting and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. So professional.nnNo wonder The Valley has been successful for 32 years !!nnAfter we had our welcome drinks in the reception area. We were escorted to our table upstairs. The food was sensational! So fresh, with quality ingredients. Possibly the best we have had!nnWe ate on a Saturday night and it was very busy, but you wouldn't know it, because the service was excellent and very personal.nnThe Valley is situated on the train platform at Corbridge. There are fantastic deals on the 'Curry Train', where you can catch the train, and be welcomed at the restaurant directly on the platform.nnWe honestly cannot recommend The Valleys, highly enough!!nnThank you X
We’ve been exploring the North for a week, and this is the best food and service we’ve had. Staff were kind, attentive and fast, in a proper restaurant way. We had a few different dishes that were all so full of flavour. I particularly liked the Lamb Shat Kora Delight. The setting is rather original, next to the station.
Fantastic curry train experience for my mums birthday. First time I’ve ever had a 3 course Indian and thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame you didn’t get to chose rice when ordering, the poppadoms were stale and despite quick service the dishes weren’t particularly hot
Food was great, but expensive.nWe did the curry train from Newcastle.nLamb was super tender.nNice decor and the staff were excellent.nnI recommend the lamb chops
