Food was very bad for the price, chips were stale and stodgy, tasted and had the texture of being cooked yesterday and refried today, the Cantonese sauce was unlike any Cantonese style sauce I’ve come across it mainly tasted of red wine… weird and inedible. The fried rice felt like microwave rice with a bit of egg thrown in, and they charged us more than what the menu had advertised, and to add insult to injury my fortune cookie had no fortune in it! Ironic.
Food is not nice . Cheap , sticky mess . Salt and pepper ribs are horrible dry clearly cooked a week before and stored , cheap ribs aren’t actually ribs just chunky bones of some sort Shame as used to be nice here but gone down hill the last 6 monthes . Also have a couple of us an upset stomach through the night . Won’t go back every again
Bland food, seems they have a strong following but not for me it seems that all the great reviews on Tripadvisor are around 3 to 8 years ago. starter box ribs we’re dry and the won tops were cooked earlier in the day spring rolls lacking flavour, Chips are goodnnGravy as an extra was tastelessnnChicken chow mein was weird and bland, chicken was not seasoned and the dish was boring too much food and no flavournnThe special chow mein was the same with not to many prawns and a slimy meat and the noodles, bland againnnNot for me on this occasion
It's takeaway only and the food is consistently excellent and I've never had a wrong order yet . Just ring with a collection time several hours ahead of you will be waiting for ages as it's a incredible production line and they get hammered from 5pm til closing time!
Excellent quality food. Travelled from Ponteland as I had heard it was good and they didn't disappoint. The whole family agreed it was an excellent meal.
