My sister and I went here for lunch midweek. It was during the school holidays, but we got a table no bother without booking. The service was fabulous, staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The burger was delicious and we didn't have to wait very long at all. My only slight criticism is that the chips were frozen, they were still tasty though. We didn't get dessert as we had stocked up on cakes from Grants. A very enjoyable visit. I would definitely go back and recommend highly.
What a lovely pub. Lived up to its reviews. Really cosy atmosphere and great service. Lovely nooks and crannies to sit in as well as a nice restaurant area. Would highly recommend.
Food was fantastic. I had the mixed grill which was incredible. However my friend had the pie, which gave me instant jealousy as it looked incredible. The atmosphere is superb. What a lovely pub to sit in. Could have easily spent all day in there. So comfortable. The music was nice background noise, perfect noise level. Staff were superb. Very friendly, quick and just generally all round fantastic service. The plates were cleared quickly as soon as they knew we were finished and the plates were just getting in the way.nHonestly great pub, Ill happily go out of my way to go back. Corbridge is lovely anyway, but this just adds to it
Lovely pub in a beautiful village. Friendly and attentive staff. Good menu. Really enjoyed the pie. Quite expensive but it was very tasty. I would recommend.
I am amazed I haven't reviewed this pub yet. It's a great place to bring a partner and or a group of people. The food is unreal, the options of drinks is great too. You can't go wrong calling in here.
