What a lovely place! Food excellent, tasty & well presented. The staff are wonderful, lovely Conor behind the bar was charming & helpful. Took some photos but my camera skills leave a lot to be desired and do not do the food justice! Plus we started to eat before I remembered to take photos! Reasonable prices, good portion sizes & delicious. You may need to book as it did get busy, which is not a huge surprise given the lovely food. The waitress was very lovely too, did not get her name, over all a very pleasant evening.
Went for Sunday dinner and it didn't disappoint. The meat and veg were spot on. The only issue was the kids pizza which isn't the best quality. Abit like the Chicago town pizzas you can get. The butternut soup was amazing aswell

We had lunch here today and the food was amazing. Two of us had the pork belly with buttery mash and hispi cabbage, the cabbage was DELICIOUS, seriously it was so good I had to ask the waitress to find out from the chef what made it so special, how they'd cooked it. They were very obliging. We cleared our plates! Mind you just that course was 1700+ calories so that should probably be me done for the day...
My sister and I went here for lunch midweek. It was during the school holidays, but we got a table no bother without booking. The service was fabulous, staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The burger was delicious and we didn't have to wait very long at all. My only slight criticism is that the chips were frozen, they were still tasty though. We didn't get dessert as we had stocked up on cakes from Grants. A very enjoyable visit. I would definitely go back and recommend highly.
