Visited here on Sunday for lunch and it was very quiet. The food was okay I had the 'BBQ Mac Burger + Chips' and the staff were friendly enough, but the place just had no atmosphere. Decent pricing at £15.49 for the meal and a drink.
17 of us attempted to stop off here yesterday evening on route home. The group contained some Under 18s but we were told they were not allowed in. That is perfectly understandable and acceptable but it needs to be clearer as we walked straight past the door staff who said nothing, we then stood at the bar for at least 3-4 minutes before anything was said. In this time some of the group had been served and paid leaving us in limbo and having to split up to go elsewhere. Had the door staff been doing their job properly that situation could have been avoided, we would have known from the start and happily accepted the answer and moved on.
Trip out to see my best mate's sister n partner with his grandson who has cerebral palsy.nPub is wheelchair friendly n dog friendly. Very comfortable n extremely polite n friendly bar staff.nAnd they had a right selection of draught beers. My mate n I had a couple of pints of draught mango cider - outstanding.nAll in all a most enjoyable afternoon
Came here, we had pie veg, Mac cheese, and the steak. Was probably the worst meals we have had, ask for steak well done and was still blood in it. The pie was cooked too long so was hard tasteless, the Mac cheese was cooked too long as all hard. It wasn't busy so no reason for poor food.
On a busy night in Bawtry due to a great turnout for Biker’s Night the bar staff Abbie and Curtis did a great job. The food is normal pub food but it was well cooked and served hot.
