Absolutely fantastic experience at The Bull and Lobster! The food was outstanding—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection and perfectly prepared.nnThe staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Excellent service, delicious food, and great value for money. I would highly recommend The Bull and Lobster and will definitely be returning!
We went as a pair and ate like kings!! I ordered a Rib Eye and my wife went for the lobster.nThe staff were wonderful! We were received and treated with great care.nWe’ve had a lot of trouble finding a decent fish restaurant since we moved to Doncaster even though I went for the steak. And there, you surpassed our expectations.nWe're used to going to great restaurants. And you've made it into our top favorites. Thank you so much !

Laura and Luke provided amazing service from start to finish – they were so friendly, attentive and really made us feel welcome.nnThe cocktails were incredible, definitely some of the best we've had, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were really generous, so you definitely get great value for money.nnA brilliant atmosphere with excellent staff, amazing drinks and delicious food. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend!
Well, after reading positive reviews my wife and I were looking forward to trying here for ourselves.. I booked a table online and had to pay £20 deposit which was a bit bizarre. On turning up for 6pm we were shown to a table that was in the walkway so asked to be moved, 3rd time lucky as 2nd table wasn't much better.. My wife and I ordered the seafood sharing platter to start.. We had an amazing one of these in Seahouses, Northumberland, Silly of us to expect something similar.. Was nothing like it, the prawns were tasteless as were the mussels, would have been nice in garlic but was just a butter sauce. And a bowl of white bait which was pan friedwho the hell eats whitebait?? still had eyes and fully intact. Didn't think whitebait was for humans and used for fishing... For main my wife had seafood pasta.. I had rib/wing combo.. She left most of hers as it was stodgy, I was full from the starter so asked for mine to be wrapped to take home.. Never got asked if we had allergies!! My wife has a chilli allergy which wasn't discussed, we got a drink when 1st sitting at the table but in the 1hr 30min we were in there we were never asked again, poor service by the young lass who was too busy flirting with the chef in the kitchen..nTotal bill was £96, we won't be returning as food wasn't upto par.
We visited Bull and lobster for a birthday meal with high expectations it unfortunately it missed the mark by some way. For Starters we had bruschetta which was good no complaints there, but the chicken wings were a disappointment. No seasoning on the wing itself and the skin was left rubbery and a very pale looking bunch of wings tossed in some cheap sauce.nnMain course we have the tomahawk steak and added a lobster tail. The steak as perfectly cooked and was really enjoyable, the lobster was also nice but I feel a garlic butter dip on the side would be beneficial. The overall main meal was borderline cold and the side sauces just tasted bland and packet made.nnThe overall bill came to £165 which when you are paying them prices quality is expected at every level of the meal. No effort was made for a special occasion even though it was mentioned at the of booking and at the time of the meal. The service was good but some remarks from the waiter was close to the line which maybe some other people would have been offered by and not seen as banter.nnOn this occasion we wouldn’t return as the price doesn’t justify the quality of food received regrettably.
