We had our wedding here on 18th July. All the staff were so amazing right from the get go. Emily couldn't do enough for us. Ive lost count of the amount of emails I sent her and she never failed to reply.nnOn the day Toni was amazing!! The day couldn't have gone any smoother than it did. It was perfect! Toni made sure that everything i had asked for was carried through. Even when I changed plans at the very last minute. He is an amazing bloke, i couldn't have wished for anything more. He made sure we was fully looked after by all staff throughout the full day.nnThe food was amazing, it is the topic of any conversation i have with any of my guests. The bar staff were great too, we never didn't have a drink in our hands. Big shout out to oliver/ollie he looked after us all night.nnI honestly cant speak highly enough of the staff and the venue. Nothing was too much of an ask. I will recommend this place to anyone that is getting married. If I could give more than a 5 star review then I would.
I had the pleasure of taking my mum here yesterday for her 47th birthday for a meal and some drinks with 2 of her friends. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The food was incredible across the table and when the bill came we had been given some drinks on the house. Thank you for a lovely evening for my mum
Stayed in May this year and the rooms were unbearably hot. Granted we had just had a heatwave, but the temperature had returned to normal and there is no explanation for why the temperature was so high. I've never experienced anything like it. No air conditioning and windows open did nothing other than let the smell of breakfast waft in around 7:30am.nThe room was tired, sheets were torn, our bin still had a wrapped up sanitary towel in.nBreakfast definitely isn't worth the money, especially when there are so many nicer options in Bawtry.nStaff were lovely and the location is great, but there is no way on earth this is a 4-star hotel.
Not very impressed with the room. Noise from the street much of the night and early morning. Needs a refurb. Bed uncomfortable, pillows horrendously old, no space between the toilet and shower screen. Tired decor. Draft through the window. Needs a good fettle.nBreakfast though, was excellent, kind of made up for the room.nStaff were lovely.
We have just returned from a weekend at the Crown Hotel and Bawtry Hall to celebrate my son’s wedding. From start to finish it was been a wonderful stay, Hannah the wedding coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and took great care to always be on hand should the bridal party need her for anything. On the morning of the wedding my granddaughter was up early and excited to be a bridesmaid, my husband took her down for breakfast but it hadn’t opened up yet, Kimberley, I think she was the manager, made a huge fuss of her and went into the kitchen herself and got her a platter of cereals and fruit to take up to the room. Later on that morning as I was getting ready I dropped my necklace and the charm fell down the plug hole! I rang down and again got Kimberley on the phone, having explained it had huge sentimental value, not but really sure what anyone could do about it, she quickly contacted maintenance and they both came up to the room, 5 minutes later the u bend was undone and the charm was returned to me! I’d say that is above and beyond what you would expect from any staff member! So I’d just like to say thank you again to all the staff at The Crown for an absolutely unforgettable weekend.
