We visited this pub restaurant for a bite to eat at lunch time. Seems like the staff were very friendly and polite. My wife and I waited a very long time for our food. We had waited for half an hour and had to remind them that we were still waiting. Forty minutes went by. Then our food arrived with an apology. The food was tasty and delicious. Such a shame we had to wait so long.
If you have kids in the Horsham area this pub is a little hidden gem, they have a permanent outside play area and they get a couple of bouncy castles out when the weather is good. The food is slightly above basic but the bar staff are chatty and the chef genuinely asked about the food, also the bus converted to an outside bar is a stroke of genius. Small pub, big aspirations.
My fiancé and I held an event here and we couldn’t be happier with how it went. From the start organising everything to the event itself, the tipsy fox team were so helpful and welcoming. There was a large number of people who attended and the team dealt with everything effortlessly. All the food we had was thoroughly enjoyed and can’t be faulted. Everyone had a great time and we’re so grateful. Whilst we had an event here, we would also highly recommend coming here for a drink and/or food, we definitely will be!
The sunday roast was lovely, and extra gravy was offered. The service was really friendly and prompt. I will be visiting again
Popped in for a drink for the first time the other day, so don't know it well yet and I will update this review in the future. However, experience was good, place was packed at 4pm, low ceilings, wooden beams, so good atmosphere and the staff were friendly and efficient. I see they do frequent live gigs, music and comedy, so I will probably try and get to some of them.nnUpdate:nnA friend and I had lunch at the Tipsy Fox recently. The menu is pretty typical pub grub - burgers, mac'n cheese, fish and chips, and a good choice of pizzas. Pulled pork pizza was good, although the base was a little tough, and my friend's burger came with Macdonald's type fries, not the chunky chips as advertised on the menu. Service was very friendly and pleasant, but quite disorganised. For example, the lady forgot what I'd ordered and had to come back and check, then turned up with the wrong starter anyway. However, to their credit they did offer the correct one for free.
