Visited today. Very busy bank holiday. 1 hour 30 mins for food. Waitress was sad, Tearful and ill equipped. Really not cut out for any kind of front of house service! Food was microwaved with in an inch of its life. Inedible! I love green king ordinarily and it’s usually good value for money. But was woeful today. Won’t be returning or recommending .

Slow service. Clean warm pub central in the town. Menu is pre printed by the chain and they do not serve everything on it and was rude about when order was place. No alternative offered. Perhaps someone should cover the unavailable choices up.

Great place to eat and drink . Great atmosphere , but having visited 5 times to eat myself , and family members 5/6 time separately , there is NEVER the triple chicken burger !! So disappointing as great place ! Why put it on the menu if it’s never available!!

The location is great in the center of town. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are polite and helpful.

Several visits have confirmed this venue as a friendly town centre pub with some great food at really good prices. Big portions and best gammon I ever tasted!
