Nice little hidden speakeasy style bar in the city centre. Small menu, but large amount of spirits so you can ask for an off menu cocktail from the award winning staff. Wine, champagne and craft beers also offered. The bar offers locally sourced food and serve till late. Cocktails range from about £7 onwards, but is highly recommended.

Stopped for overnight stay in Aberdeen and made reservations prior. The website has an intriguing menu and we were excited to be visiting on their Thursday test kitchen/experimental cocktail night. Upon arrival, there was no mention of the test kitchen and we couldn't seem to get a straight answer on whether it was available. The food was satisfying, but cocktails were highly disappointing. My gin martini glass was served half full, tasted watered down. The next cocktail, whiskey based with beetroot and egg white, had zero alcohol in it. Calling this out to our server, he assured us this was not the case. It tasted and looked like water with beer juice. Zero flavor and no booze. Environment wise: very loud, no music playing, kitchen noises easily heard from dining area. Could be that I have high expectations when a business advertises itself as specialty cocktail bar. Or could be that this place is missing their own mark.

Fantastic place for cocktails but not for everyone. If you like a woowoo or jug of sex on the beach then this place is not for you. High quality cocktails at a premium but worth the money. 2 or 3 of them and you will feel boozy. Food was also good but not what I come to the bar for.
