Food was average pub grub, not bad, just not great. Tried to order a bottle of white wine, but they were totally out of white wine! Snugs available for those that don't like too many people and also a terrace bar which is confusing to find. Terrace bar sounds like a good idea, but looks like a smoking den! Would not rush to go back to the bar at all. Additional, the bar shares the exact same menu as two other pubs within striding distance. Not much variety of food among three of the popular pubs in the area.

Great centre of town bar restaurant with reasonably priced food and drinks. One of the oldest pubs in Aberdeen. Always busy and a struggle to get a table at the end of the week or indeed any lunchtime. The old bar at the front is really quirky where in past times the journalists solicitors etc met to discuss the news of the day for publication. Great pkace to visit.

Love this place for both an evening with my partner and/or friends for drinks and also for their meals. Amazing service. Amazing food My partner and I got together for the first time here, 14 years ago. Very special place for us
