They had a football game on and the place was electric with excitement. I got the fish and chips and my group tried haggis for the first time. The haggis balls are amazing! Why is haggis not more popular?! I would definitely order it again, it was really good. Despite all the activity we were able to find a reasonably quiet spot. The bar staff is super friendly and very helpful. Over all this is a great place to visit, I can't wait to go back.
It gets a 5 for atmosphere, service and drinks, but a 3 for food. They were out of a few things when we visited. What we did have was good - not fantastic, and not bad either. I would recommend this spot for a drink any day for the experience of being in a cool basement bar with pool tables, darts, etc. The fajitas we're good and the Dahl was also good, but I wouldn't recommend ordering it with chicken because it gets grilled separately and placed on top.
Good pub grub. Healthy enough menu with the 'bad' choices should you wish. Bar staff are friendly and polite.

I think we went in on a bad night. Poor singer on one side rowdy group of people on the other. Limited choice when it came to beer. Staff seemed ok. Probably deserves a 2nd chance, but 1st visit wasn't great.
Best tasting Tattie Skins in a long time, great service, chilled atmosphere during the day, great for a light bite.
Traditional pub with fair prices. Hamburgers are good. Very well decorated and nice atmosphere inside. Great to grab some pints with pals. They even have an upstairs space for private events and cards with discounts.
Decent bar, we stopped through on our way to the airport for breakfast. We both had Scottish fry ups which were decent however we both decided that haggis was not our bag! The pub was friendly and well worth the trip down the stairs to get to it. They had TV’s showing sport and the beer was good to, they served a local lager that was a good lunchtime bevy.
The ambience is great. The staff are friendly. They've got a decent collection of drinks. The place is usually crowded in the evenings and on game nights. The pub quiz is usually on Monday evenings. The food is pretty decent as well. A must visit if you're travelling to Aberdeen.
Absolutely brilliant. Food excellent, staff excellent and child friendly too. 10/10
