Good old time pub. One of tge oldest in Aberdeen. Unfortunately it would seem the gents toilet smells as old as the pub. Disgusting smell even at lunchtime. You would think it had never been cleaned. However the bar itself boasts a huge range of malt whiskey and spirits. The decor is a throwback from a bygone age which is really good. Overall good all round bar which also serves hot snacks.

A small and beautifully preserved historical bar, walnut wooden wall deco, lovely ceiling, you can still see the metal match scratch strip at wooden bar space(see photos) and tables have customised ‘grill’ name on cast metal legs. A great selection of whiskey and knowledgable staffs, also selling beer, gin, other sprit too. One of my favourite place to come at all times. Must visit place in Aberdeen!!

One of the best whiskey bars I have ever been in. Unbelievably friendly service and an equally friendly crowd. One of the few places in the city with a really homely feel to it.

Wow, a rare five stars! Looks so dodgy from the outside but a beautiful interior. Mahogany panelled and stunning ceiling. Either stand up at the bar or sit on the benches opposite around cast iron table that weigh a ton! Good choice of whisky and beers. The wall and cabinets behind the counter is wall to wall whisky from single to malts and all in between. Not to be missed!
