Live Acts
At least one Friday a month, we have live entertainment from 1.30am. We've had, and will always have, a great mix of artists – some amazing blasts from the past (including Hazel Dean, Jo Frances and Kelly Llorenna) through to the hottest new talent (including Lloyd Daniels, Andy Scott Lee and the Queens of Pop.) Sadly, Madge and GaGa refuse to go this far North without some serious demands but don't despair, we've got some of the very best tribute acts on the circuit with regular performances from Jessie J, Jacqui Cann, Steps, Madonna Licious and Maybe Gaga.

Venue Hire
Cheerz Club is the ideal city centre venue. With free hire for parties over 20 people, we're able to accomodate functions 7 days a week from 5pm to 11.30pm. We've also got a strippers licence for those parties that want to add an extra bit of naughtiness to their celebrations.

Have been here for a variety of events over the years and nights out, never had any issues here, it's a very inclusive place, I'm surprised at some of the reviews, it's not a surprise that they have a no trackies policy it has been around for years and the amount of straight people in the venue, I think reflects the strength of the allies that are here and want to party with friends and family. It's a clean, safe bar, fair priced drinks and a good atmosphere. I'm glad it's in the heart of Aberdeen as a place for LGBT+ people to go and find a community. Couldn't recommend it more.
Me and my mate came in with our pass cards it worked all the last times we went but one of the staff members came up to us today 10 minutes after we sat down had no time to chill out and got told our id aren’t valid and got kicked out. We weren’t even ordering alcohol and it was about 2pmFood: 2/5
For being the only gay bar in Aberdeen it’s probably one of the most unsafe spaces for LGBTQ+ people in the city, been groped, harassed, had horrible intrusive comments made to me for existing as a trans person in the space. My friend has been followed into the toilets before. If they can refuse entry to someone in tracksuits they can refuse entry to the hoards of dodgy people who are always there the middle aged men who feel it’s ok to touch people or stare at people trying to have a fun safe night. The things I’ve also seen and heard people say to the some of the staff is vile. Management and owners need to seriously sort things out.
The memories of the past never die. I just want to say RIP, to Kevin who was an amazing guy and a drag queen. I am sure he is in a better place now Thank youFood: 5/5
Not a bad place - Decent door staffService: 5/5
Most casual and comfortable bar in aberdeen. Definitely feel safe there as a trans* lesbian. Ive noticed a lot of straight people use the pool tables which is fine but sometimes makes me a little uneasy- however i know the staff are observant enough to do something about it inside the bad the outsides of bars are always a dodgy area so I understand a lack of security. Havent been to the club. Great drinks at a good price. Quick to make drinks.
Nice enough bar, reasonable drink prices. Majority of straight people when we were there which was unusual for a gay bar. Really strange policy on work gear/trackies. Had been there for two hours when the bouncer decided to kick a friend out because he was in work gear, despite him being there for a while.
Perfect! If you are a nervous first timer you may simply chill with your drink and enjoy the music and the fun around Their music taste is awesome. There are quite some tempting events which are worth attending.Food: 5/5
Previous comments removed. I am informed there is a Facebook page with more favourable reviews than those found here. Presumably there is more information regarding entertainment. Perhaps I missed a link to this or it is not on Maps so I'll look there. There's very little here to suggest the bar is safe or welcoming. Could the management perhaps rally a positive word or recommendation from patrons to dispell my first impression or provide a clear link if it's there? Ok would like to have visited... NB: 5 star rating is given without visiting. Management responded to my initial post promptly which I appreciate and consider a positive action. My comments above are observational only and there is no intent to mislead or infer this bar is to be avoided. I however, based upon the reviews left by others here and without seeing other social media pages decided not to visit. I will reconsider for my next visit to the city.
A decent bar considering there’s no alternatives in the area. Staff are friendly, and it’s always good to see regular faces. However, its a shame that verbal altercations / discomfort experienced visitors is mostly met by passive and unbothered security / staff who don’t resolve issues when they arise, and overly antisocial and drunk punters not being removed which ruins the fun for everyone else. More attentive security who are vigilant of / listen to issues and act on them would be welcomed and make the bar a lot nicer place to spend your money. If you don’t mind playing safety roulette, the bar can be a decent night out, especially since the music has drastically improved in the last few weeks. Hopefully some improvements to security to come.
