1 one the best run pubs I've ever been to, well looked after fantastic friendly team of people views that money can't buy. Food very well made and presented thumbs up to the chef and all the staff here, I very much enjoyed my meals and time here. 😀

No children's food- we felt unwelcome but the male who served us was very friendly. What a shame as lovely setting outside. A summer pub i guess. A happy face behind the bar is so necessary even if youre not a local!

Beautiful old fashioned pub set in a glorious setting with a gorgeous garden with the most stunning views of the South Downs. We had a lovely most delicious Sunday lunch , the Roast was a 'Proper' Roast with all the right trimmings how a Roast should be! I had the Steaks & Kidney pie in the photo I can honestly say it was the best I have ever tasted, the meat just melted in my mouth & I loved the touch of the 3 Horse Shoes made of pastry on the top.

Excellent warm pigeon salad and bought two handcrafted walking sticks as well (proceeds to charity).
