Story

At first glance, The Hamilton Arms is a typical English country pub. Yet hidden within this charming eatery you’ll find something a little different – the inn not only serves classic pub fare, but also houses Nava Thai, a restaurant offering authentic Thai cuisine. Proprietors Mudita Karnasuta & Suhail Hussain ensure all dishes are based around traditional Thai recipes. There is also a small shop selling genuine Thai ingredients, so you can recreate your Nava Thai dining experience at home. The menu includes plenty of flavorsome curries and soups, plus lots of tasty seafood, succulent meat dishes and tempting vegetarian options. As well as running the restaurant, Mudita has set up The Mudita Trust, which helps underprivileged children in Thailand – ten per cent of the pub’s profits go to the trust, so you can tuck in knowing you’re contributing to a good cause.
