Couldn't stay long as no cab availability later to pick us up after long walk, but received a warm welcome even though we were clearly not locals and would not be staying long. The landlord was very friendly and although we did not try the food the beer was in tip top condition. Also the pub was a rarity for the area in being open during the afternoon.

Made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped indoors. On this occasion we just had lunch which was  excellent (and hot).  No problem having two young children with us and a baby seat was provided at the table.  Will definitely visit here again.

Pre-ordered dinner for 2100 after an  evening cycle. Landlady very accommodating and food very nice. Not the cheapest but good value for money.
