I moved from Manchester 12 months ago I’ve always loved the temple for its lively environment and quirkiness I came home from New Zealand 2 weeks ago and was completely shocked with what I saw. Apparently it’s changed hands but it certainly isnt the same place it once was. I can only assume it’s new manager who served me but I found her to be rude disengaging and not friendly at all
I didn't try the food.. but the pub was definitely nice the staff and other punters were friendly and the pub was traditional as possible, I've been a few times with my daughter and we've both enjoyed ourselvesService: 5/5

It's a great local pub with so friendly bar staff, Chelsey is best!! Highly recommended if you want to see local life with great selection of beer.
Went in on a Sunday place was rocking with a disco music full busy pub and nice enough clientele. Recommend goingService: 5/5
Mainly local regular customers. Felt as if I was being assessed as a newbie when I first walked in. But the landlord/barman soon made me at ease. The choice of music played was broad but great in my opinion/ choice. A good pint of Guinness at the cheapest price I have paid in a good while.
Haven't been here for well over a decade but it was a good if somewhat interesting pub back in the late-00s and early-10s.Service: 4/5
A nice lovely/beautiful pub. Friendly atmosphere. Close to the motorways. Not only that, Lisa the landlady is a very good friend of mine, and Kirsty her daughter does a sterling job behind the bar as well. I'm hoping to go and see them again very soon!
Great little pub, Nice and friendly people. Landlord and staff can't do enough for you! Nice bear prices too
Love this place. Very locals orientated. Everyone knows everyone so was on the outside looking in, but not made to feel uncomfortable. Very clean and must have been recently refurbished. Cash only bar but amazingly cheap: large wine and a pint for under a fiver!
