Amazing pub. Nice atmosphere. Has a pool table. Staff were really friendly and toilets were very clean. Food came quickly for a table of 6 and was really tasty and of a very high standard. Football was showing on very good TVs. For a first time experience it was very impressive and I would definitely recommend . Look forward to returning.
My local pub. Lovely service, great food. Decent prices
My wife & I just had lunch here & although the food was delicious the portions were very small this would be understandable if we ordered from the £6+ lunch menu but we ordered from the main menu so higher price. My wife is only petite & even she left still feeling hungry shame as this has put us off from going back.
Friendly staff, brilliant at accommodating the needs of wheelchair users. Amazing food.
Nice food & good outdoor seating area. Bit noisy inside but good value for money.
Fantastic roast beef dinner
Had a catch up with some old pals here. Really nice friendly pub, staff and service were excellent food and beer was spot on. Cheers for a good night.
Had the Beef pie, it was very good ,didn't try the beer as I was driving although there was a massive selection from what I saw so will get a taxi next time
Very disappointed. Ate here regularly before the Pandemic but on today's experience this is likely to be my last. Took visitors for lunch...all day breakfasts OK. My gammon looked nothing like the photos.... given knife and then steak knife when I went to bar to say that I couldn't cut the gammon. Still incredibly tough and lots of fat and gristle....so much so left 90% of meal. Cost £10.99...not happy. Having spoken with staff who had given me a steak knife I was surprised that no one came to check meals OK. Got the impression that they were avoiding our table...Pity as local and convenient to pop in to eat but totally put off by today's experience
Amazing food and excellent staff first time I visited recently and will definitely be coming back again!! I recommend the Beef Pie with Mash was one of the best I've ever had! Thank you Geoff
