Came here with my nieces and mum for a quick lunch after a long walk down the canal and what can I say! Pizza shed is fantastic, we ordered pizza and some kids burgers from the main menu and it all went down a treat. Service is really fast and all members of staff were really attentive! Will definitely be back and super dog friendly too!
Outstanding! Amazing venu, food and staff went above and beyond for us! Can’t say enough good things about The Bridge, we will definitely be back. What a find this place was. Booked in at Travelodge Sale and faced with the choice of "anywhere but Fridays" The Bridge Inn is just 10 mins walk away. Worth the great reviews it already has. Lots of outdoor seating next to the canal, plenty of room inside too. Had a fantastic steak and ale pie, my buddy rated highly his fish and chips too. Worth the walk and far better quality of dinner.
I went there for a business lunch and it was my first visit. The restaurant was spotless clean and the place itself had a ‘high end’ vibe to it. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and the service itself was pretty quick. I had the fish, chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce and I was so glad I ordered it. The fish was pretty big and by the ‘white gold’ filling, I could tell it was very fresh. The batter was crispy and light, which is how it’s supposed to be and the chips were nice and crispy on the outside and full of soft potato on the inside. Overall, the meal was delicious and definitely filling. Looking at the prices on the menu, it is reasonably priced but when you balance the price of the meal against the quality of the food served, I’d suggest that you get a great cheap meal. Overall, great location, great atmosphere, great staff and exceptional food!
1st time visit. Staff were friendly, not pushy, and a warm welcome was given. Food choices were good, not long waiting time. We ordered pan fried seabass....delicious Good choice of drinks & Beers Will definitely be going back. Highly recommended
Arrived on Saturday at about 2.30 pm. Car park compact for the size of the place. Very spacious inside and ample table space outside, facing the canal. Waiter Service for drinks was quick and polite. Ordered steak and ale pie with chips and mushy peas. Arrived in 10 minutes - nice and hot. Proper thick cut chips - not frozen or the american type. Did not have a dessert but looked tempting. Toilet facilities good and clean. Staff informative. Would go again if in that area.
Nice looking place, on the water, and with a good car park. Food was underwhelming, not bad, it just wasn't as expected. The tower burger sounded like an epic feast on the menu, but didn't deliver in person which was disappointing as so many other places would have. Chicken burger was fine, but again, not what it could have been, just bland really. The creamy fish dish was lovely though. Serving staff just seemed a bit clueless, but polite and without issue, so was maybe just a newbie. It's not a bad place, just not as good as others, so we won't rush back, but wouldn't say no to going again, we'd just all have the fish!
We’ve been using the Bridge for many years for our monthly car club meet. The new menu is great and last night produced the best plates of food we’ve had so far! Lovely staff, amazing food!Food: 5/5
A good local place to eat, with attractive views over the canal from one of the two main eating areas. There is ample parking together with lots of varied outdoor seating, again with attractive views in this urban area.Food: 4/5
