A very good restaurant in Ewyas Harold. Nicely set out with a good bar which has a good selection of ale, lager, cider, wine and spirits. Very good food menu which is supplied locally and cooked on site. Menu is well balanced with good choices across three courses and is well priced The service was quick and was brought to the table by a friendly member of staff An all-round good experience which I intend to repeat

Only stopped for a quick drink after walking the dog staff were friendly beer was good as we spent our time sat outside can't really say much more lol

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly management good food. And a lovely warm fire going.

Modern pub-cum-bar set in an old stone-built building. Upon entering the bar is in the corner of the room; this can get crowded with standing drinkers, and it can be difficult to see the cask ale offerings as the handpumps are set at the very back. Notwithstanding that though, this is a well-run, community-focused pub which the local people appear to have taken to their heart as it is very well used. Recommended.

We have eaten quite a few Sunday lunches and several dinners here. The food is excellent, the service friendly and efficient and the atmosphere calm. I have enjoyed every course eaten here.
