If you are within the Hereford City Area, just GO !nHaven't rate 'food' as they don't do it.nFabulous staff! Very knowledgeable about their ales, Larger etc, and very, very, helpful & Knowledgeable about other pubs in the area.nHereford bars don't see it as a competition! They see it as 'their' area! A sort of, 'one for all, & all for one' sort of thing......nI highly recommend, The Barrel, & The Orange Tree, for beer/ale etc & the Rose & Crown for food !n sadly....you can walk between them all ! What a terrible way to spend a day..... week ......
Didn't eat so can't comment on food but excellent selection of ales and a great atmosphere, especially when a live band is playing out back. Called in for random drinks while visiting Hereford for a wedding and had a great time. Very affordable too!
Nice pub with a big outdoor seating area to the rear. I feel it’s had a refurb as didn’t look like other pictures we’d seen on reviews. Tv screens around showing sport including F1 which is good to know for future visits! Good beers and prices.
Great beer, great atmosphere, shame about the toilets. Don’t think it was the staff tho. Could be wrong
What a great traditional pub.nPerfect beer.nGreat company, chat and snacks.nIf you like good beer, do not miss this place out on your Hereford visit.nnGreat pint as usual, chatted with the locals and dog lovers outside.nnI wouldn't want to drink anywhere else in Hereford.
