Very close to how I imagine a pub was 200 years ago in that "everyone" is there. Age range 18 to 80, all classes, minorities, majorities, all just enjoying the company. Unpretentious. Pleasantly worn. Atmosphere jolly but not scary. AND THE BEER IS CHEAP!!!

Best place in Herefordshire to drink Wye Valley Bitter. Great beer, great atmosphere. They have bar games, a nice big smoking area and there is also 2 bars so that you are never long waiting for a pint!

Great atmosphere here. The outdoor space is a lovely addition to not having to stay cramped inside - outdoor heaters are a brilliant thing to have also.

Friendly warm pub. Staff are knowledgeable obout their own products and always willing to give advice. Bloody good beers help make it not only my local but one for everyone.

5 star rating for a 5 star pub. Great range of beers from Wye Valley brewery, well kept and served. Always busy especially the huge outdoor smoking area which is like another pub outside. Regular quiz night and often other stuff going on. Last time it was the Morris men. Handy for the Indian next door or across​ the road. Highly recommended​, always visit when I'm in Hereford.
