Excellent service and superb food. It's quite reasonably priced for what it is, we spent about £25 each without drinks. The interiors are striking and the location is perfectly situated in Hereford. I'd highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese, but get one each - they're not big portions!

Whilst the food was excellent the service was quite slow. When we had service it was good but the gaps between ordering and receiving our drinks and our bill were of the standard I would expect. I do think you need more staff or a better system.

I was a regular visitor with my family to this commonly excellent restoran. However, today was extremely disappointing; calamaries were soaked with (an ancient) oil and the sea bass, I did not touch other than tasting and spitting it out as it was poisonous and probably leftover from last the Sunday. Can't describe the mashed potato....Fortunately, they always have excellent choice of wine, helping me to rid of an awful taste. The lesson to learn: never order a fish in a beef restaurant, but it should not be like that...in the hindsight I should have refused to pay! My feeling is that the management has changed recently. In any case, it will pass a lot of Wey river water under the Hereford bridges before my next visit...

Only 1 star because there wasn't a half a star option. Food was late after 30mins of placing the order. It was cold and the waiter brought the wrong type of chips. After these complaints were passed on to the poor waitress, the manager failed to come until around 15mins. He then proceeded to make an excuse saying that there was a table of 25 upstairs when there was actually 18. He then had a beer behind the bar and cowered away in the kitchen. He then didn't come back out for the entirety of the 'meal' and sent the poor waitress to represent him and talk to us despite it not being her fault. No actions of compensation were made. However the burgers were very nice and of high quality meat. However the steak and chips were found to be cold. Won't be coming back again. Strongly recommend Wildwoods over this.

Place was nearly empty. We waited half an hour for our food, the manager told us they had a table of 25 upstairs (they were 18) and did not offer any apologies. When the food arruved was lukewarm, the wine we ordered was brought in a larger and more expensive sizes than asked (clearly asked for two small glasses, they came in 250ml). Very bad customer care, poorly management. Never set foot there again.
