We were staying in Hereford, and were looking for a country style pub to eat at, and a google search found The Cottage of Content, fabulous food and drink, and dog friendly.

Quintessential English pub (Best Country Pub 2017 in the U.K. by The Good Pub Guide) full of original features and a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the staff really friendly. The beer garden at the front of the pub is beautiful. Well worth a visit - especially if you are a fan or Carey Organic Cider (from the farm next door).
