Story

Unwind and take in a real slice of Glasgow history in our beautifully restored traditional tea rooms set amongst original townhouse features.

A perfect venue for a pre-theatre afternoon tea or wee treat after a long day of shopping on Glasgow's Style Mile. We bake and brew everything in-house with a fine selection of traditional leaf teas and modern adaptions from the tea pigs range all accompanied by our hand crafted cakes and bakes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

We visited on Mothers Day for an Afternoon Tea for 3, everything was very nice food wise, but we were not impressed with the person who greeted us at the door, whoever the male person who took our booking made a mistake and only booked a table for 2, the greeters attitude was not very helpful and stuck the 3 of us at a small table meant for 2. We have been to the Butterfly & Pig often and this being a special occasion we hoped for better service. We hope this was an isolated incident.

Afternoon Tea was excellent, with homemade bread for the sandwiches and homemade cakes. The staff are friendly and attentive.  Much better than some afternoon teas we've had in London. Definitely recommend it.

We had the high tea and portions were very generous. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!
