I had my 50th birthday meal for my family in the private dining room and it was amazing. Jen arranged it all for me and ensured a guest with strict dietary needs meal was adhered to. She was brilliant and clearly in the right job so thank you Jen. Our server Steven was amazing and we were all very well looked after. He worked so hard that day so thank you Steven. The food and ambiance was amazing and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I couldn't have had a better day so thank you Hutchesons for making that happen.

Midweek, mid afternoon, relatively quite so staff not rushed off their feet! Had the 3-course pre-theatre menu, excellent value, food delicious. Staff attentive but not overly so, well worth a  visit. Will be back;

We went there for Christmas lunch.
To start with, it took them more than 30 minutes just to sit us down.
Once we were seated, food started coming.

Appetizers:
I had the salmon appetizer, which was roughly a bite and a half of over cooked salmon.
My colleague got 2 slices of supermarket bread.

My main course was the vegetarian gnocchi, which was more like 8 potato sponge drenched with oil.

For desert I had creme brulee which could have been a big success had they made it to order and it wouldn't arrive cold from the fridge.

For a £26.5  Christmas menu it was underwhelming and very unsatisfying.
