This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in!! The food is absolutely superb, Chef Proprietor John is hugely talented and the Front of House team with David and Lauren, whose knowledge of wines and other drinks, is a real treat. I recommend Etive Restaurant with a great deal of confidence. Delighted they are now opening in Oban. Good luck guys!!

Lovely restaurant with rooms near Oban. We had a great stay in the room number one. The room is spacious and the design inspired by boats. The owner and the staff are dedicated and very friendly. They made us feel at home. We enjoyed a delicious and high quality diner and breakfast. I would come back any day for the delicious egg Benedict ! I would recommend a stop to all food, whisky and gin lovers !

Excellent kitchen, delicious food, locally sourced when possible. Friendly service with plenty of context about the food you are having. We had the three course dinner. Absolutely the best food in Scotland so far.

Great food, abience, enthusiastic and helpful staff, worth every penny because it's all great quality ingredients. We've never had a bad experience and would recommend the food here to anyone who knows about good food.
