A lot of pubs could learn valuable lessons from The Tawny. The staff welcome you they want to serve you they are polite. The food was great too, I also like the fact the chef brought the food out. A very pleasant experience fully recommend.

Never been disappointed. Always great food and the staff are always friendly and happy. Lovely beer garden which is perfect for the kids. Lucky to have you on our doorstep.

The Tawny Owl is popular for its food, which has been hit and miss of late. The quality of food is very good when they have what you want. The management staff are very friendly as are some of the bar/serving staff. Others a little unattentive. The facilities are pretty good, with disabled access, beer garden and kids park. The accommodation is nice too.

Good neighbourhood family pub. Perfect for summers evening with the play park for the kids and large outside area. Ok menu and reasonable beer selection. Recommended for families

Good service, average pub fare and prices. Nice stout beer served as a local alternative to the fine Irish stuff.
