Visited for dinner with a friend, the kitchen was closed so we had beer for tea. Nice, clean lines and fresh beer. It has a real 'local' feel, friendly staff getting all set up for halloween. Dog friendly, has a pool table and darts. Really great atmosphere, and I look forward to my next trip to Poole so I can visit again.

Called in last night for a couple of pints. I'm new to the area and it's probably "my local" Friendly staff and a great pint. Support your local pub, amazing prices, clean and comfortable environment.
It is nice and a real pub like the old fashioned times. I Like that BUT I find the landlord very rude. I say hello and a lot of the time I get ignored but yet he is getting my money??? Hmmmm the other staff however are so lovely including the landlady. The karaoke and discos are great. Just please tell the landlord if he wants more customers smile and be more friendly please!!!!!
We moved to a house near this pub 2 years ago. Enjoyed having a drink here straight away, but the improvement since then has been incredible. Lovely pub with a warm welcome, feel really at home here. Great landlord.
First time visit whilst on a random walk. Thought I would go in for a drink to cool down on a hot day. Terrible experience. Got criticised about how I was caring for my baby by the barlady before she even said hi. Never again. Don't believe the good reviews.
Not awfull beer was cold at least could do with a clean
Mid week visit to watch the footie having moved locally recently. Ignorant barmaid could barely register a response. Very poor beer choice John Smith's.... End of.. Fine if you've lived next door for 30 years. Oh yes...and a guy in the public bar just bellowing randomly like a cart horse on methadone. Avoid unless extended family.
