Good pub, my friend used to live here. Good service and nice beer garden.
I ran this pub under ELDRIGE&POPE 1992. A lively place in my time, I did enjoy being there pity the brewery didn't have any future plans ..there no longer around! Might go there again one day looks the same on outside.

Typical English pup. One of the few old English pubs. Lovely place, good prices and usual pub stuff. However read between the lines when I say the phrase "Foreign muck" may be uttered here. To be fair I am foreign but I seem to be forgiven of that dreadful sin . For the most part, good old English working class pub. Friendly bar staff and friendly people.
Great atmosphere, a good proper pub, friendly locals and staff.
Had a great night here not the best pub in the world. But cheap beer good food what more can you ask for. Will be going back
