We walked in and found a table right next to the fire which was great. We ordered our food at the bar to find all the staff were all wearing jeans and trainers on which was quite unprofessional. The actual pub it's self was looked loved and cosy but you would expect that having just been refitted. The starters come I had prawn cocktail and my partner had some thing with mushroom, we didn't have no complaints about the starters until late the mains came out. For the mains we both had the ultimate burgers. While we were waiting we were told that they had ran out of bacon but we didn't really have a problem with that. When the main came out the burgers were very bland and they were burned as well as the chips. We didn't eat our food although the staff at the bar did refund the money for the two mains. The staff were very friendly and polite which helped ease the pain of being upset about the main. Finished our drinks and left. Won't be returning until they get a chef that can actually cook properly.

If you fail to enter your car registration on the machines on the bar you get a demand for £85 from euro car parks. This has just happened to my son who spent one hour in the bar having parked outside. The letter may look like a fine or penalty notice but it isn't, these can only be issued by the local authority, police or a traffic warden. BEWARE.

Very nice place. Easy to get too and parking good too, food was served quick and was very tasty. Drinks good too

Very friendly place to relax with a meal or a glass of your favourite drink, a small outside area for those summer days or for the kids to run around, I recommend checking it out for yourself, the staff are very welcoming.
