Upstairs restaurant opened in 1985, yellow and terracotta rag rolled walls gave it a dated appearance. A quite busy place, but we were seated quickly and staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered the chicken parmo and chicken fillet and a mushroom sauce both came with a choice of the following salad, veg, potatoes or chips of which we chose chips and 2 pints of lager which altogether came to just under £28. The chicken part of the meal was nicely cooked, tender and the sauce was delicious but the chips were very dark and greasy which were not nice at all. All in all we think the price was a bit high for just 2 items on your plate and only 1 worth eating so we probably won't return.

The standard here is always good. It's priced accordingly and has options for more expensive of you like. You always come away satisfied with your meal
