Have to say the local pubs are the best places to visit in this area and The Sycamore Inn is up there as the best. Great atmosphere, affordable decent drinks and out there in front of anything else with amazing food!! I had the chilli con carne which was superb! But still had regrets as my wife said she had just tasted the best piece of pie she'd ever had!! Great portions and beautifully presented. Please support your local pubs because we're going to lose these amazing gems on your doorstep!!
Lovely hosts, really felt very welcomed into a brilliant local pub! Next time we are back in the peaks we will be visiting again! Good food and Guinness
A warm genuine welcome from the landlord. We sat in the main bar area and had the steak and ale pie and steak and Stilton pie. So delicious. Rich buttery pastry and huge chunks of very tender beef. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service to locals and visitors. Highly recommend
Went here on holiday as the home made steak and stilton pies were recommended, they did not disappoint, absolutely delicious, filled with meat and cheese and homemade made gravy, a general portion. Very friendly pub chatted to the locals .
