Great food, great staff, great decor. Relaxed dining and surprisingly good vegetarian options too. A real asset to Matlock and worth making the journey from further a field for. Recommend wholeheartedly. They were family friendly, but would equally love to return on a date night.

Very generous portions on the lunch menu. And a few good beers and lagers to choose from. Enjoyed it.

Liked the ambience and the décor and staff very friendly. We visited Friday evening - very, very slow service. Waited over an hour for our main courses. While we were waiting a couple at the next table walked out because they weren't prepared to wait any longer for their main courses! The waiting on staff were doing their best more staff needed.

Fantastic looking place with a great atmosphere. A real good choice of food and drink. Only eaten steak here, but every time it's been cooked to perfection.
