Lovely staff.. but we went during the transition from one menu to another... there was very little choice... but what we did have was very nice..

This is our first visit in over a year since having a bad experience after the proprietors changed. The beer selection is still not as good as it used to be, but the food had recovered. The service was a little slow but the staff were attentive and friendly. All told the experience was positive and it will not be a year before we visit one of our local pubs again. If you are a fish and chip person and like a larger portion size you will not be disappointed.

Nice place but we went in transition from one set of managers to another and the selection of food was poor.. but still 4 stars it was just unlucky we went when we did.
