Nice peaceful place for a midday stop. Right on the canal with narrow boats passing. Food plentiful and staff really friendly. Not sure what it’s like when really busy.
Love going here staff so polite and friendly the food is very good value and very tasty go once a week with my fiance and have gone here in a group of six you won't go wrong here if your looking for a good pub meal

A lovely friendly atmosphere with nice food, very professional. Our waitress was Lily who looked after us.nA nice tasty meal, we all had different, every thing was cooked nicely and presented to us with a helpful smile.nHighly recommend if you want to sit watching the world go by alongside the canal.
Upon arriving we got given a table near the window, however to get to the table we had, go past 2 round tables and you couldn't get, it was too cluttered. Once seated we told to go up to the bar to order our drinks and food. In the whole times that we have been in this pub, we always got a waitress to our table. Once decided my partner went to the bar, there was one bloke, I think the manager, serving. It took 15 minutes for him to get served. We go the food, the waitress had to lean over another table, now empty, to pass us our food. No one asked us if our food was OK. Once finished we had to pay at the bar, we could have done a runner as there was staff about, but we didn't. The service at this pub seems to have gone downhill since the nice lady left, when she was there, we were in every week.
