Very average. Long wait. Over-priced. I suppose I've been spoilt being a Yorkshire lad but the fish here is as average as it comes. Unfortunately your average fish comes with a larger than average bill. The waiting time seems to also be rather high, even for take outs, I imagine they prioritise their seated customers. All in all, pricey, average fish that takes a while to serve. An option for when you're out of options I suppose...

A nice fish and chip shop next to Sidmouth beach. The staff here were very friendly and the portion size was very good for the price. The cod was lovely and despite the chips being frozen chips, they accompanied the meal well.

Delicious cod and chips. Lovely friendly staff, unpretentious and easy going place. Every time I visit the nearby Donkey Sanctuary (at twice a year), I always pop into Sidmouth for a fish supper here. I've never been disappointed in the more than a decade that I've been frequenting this establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

just drove down from ottery for a nice portion of fish and chips. For £9 I got a mushy I think was fish and the smallest portion of chips. This was the worst of so-called food. I won't even give it to my dogs.

Best fish and chips for miles around cooked to order and not lying around in a heated cabinet for ages. Staff are very pleasant too. We are weekly visitors to Prospect Plaice and look forward to our meal there.
