Even though the pub was very busy, they food was very quick to arrive. The pub had been very busy over the weekend and a couple if the things that we wanted they didn't have. But they were very quick to offer an alternative. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and children were well catered for. Over all it was a pleasant experience

Five stars for friendliness and attitude. The place was clean albeit very busy. They lose stars because shortage of certain food items reduced the menu substantially. We had to try and reorder several times to get everyone a meal. They also don't offer a bottomless soft drink like their competition do. That might have softened the blow of the disappointment surrounding the menu. This place is child friendly and has good parking facilities. I would dare to try them again. Just not on a Monday.

Second visit. Wasn't planning to be stuck on the motorway due to an earlier accident. So we went for some food. Decided to go for the Boneless Bucket as its a fair price and nearly couldn't finish it, good thing I brought my family of four. Great service even though the pub was pretty full. Big thanks to our server Ella!

Just like any other Hungry Horse. Cheap food, tastes cheap and you feel hungry 2 hours later. But the younger kids like it and the beer is good so pros and cons. There's a smoking area with push button infrared heaters, and a punch ball to take out the frustration posed by the inevitability of a disappointing meal. The location of the punch ball game in the smokers area was a bit enigmatic; were smokers more angry than non smokers? Will have to look in to that, but not before stopping myself, don't want to be on the wrong side of that argument! But if it turns out that anger has nothing to do with smoking, how are the non smokers to vent their anger? Is the only answer violence? With no punch ball to release the pressure, would they turn on the staff? Or their fellow pub goers? Or maybe even the children! No, not the children!! PLEASE!! Anyway, if I was in charge of that establishment I would seriously consider moving the punch ball game to a more common area, shared by smokers and non smokers alike. You might avoid some tense situations:)

Had a meal here with my son and grand daughter. Not at all impressed. Burger was small and not appetising to look at. Although coleslaw was part of the meal I was told when ordering they'd run out and was that ok? I said yes but in hindsight I should have asked what it was going to be replaced with. As it was there was no replacement. Extra chips wouldn't have gone amiss as portion given very small. Won't be going back.
