We were down from London looking for a quick and easy lunch. Good service, friendly staff. We got there just before lunchtime rush on Saturday and it was very quiet, quickly got very busy but staff still managed to keep up with the pace, always a good sign. The tables were very well spaced and the less able bodied patrons were able to move around the restaurant, credit for the great planning.

Harvester offers an eat all you like breakfast on a Sunday morning ( until 11.30 ). There is a buffet offered of cereal, fruit,yogurt, juices,toast and crumpets that you can help yourself to and unlimited tea/Coffee to accompany your unlimited breakfast for just a pound. Waitress service for the cooked elements, and you are asked what items you want and the quantity. Normally a good deal for those requiring a substantial breakfast the only complaint being that occasionally the hot breakfast reaches the table somewhat less than piping hot.

I wasn't expecting much going here and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. As a food pub that's a step up from Wetherspoons this is your place. Slightly on the pricey side, but there's a free salad bar and bread while you wait which was actually quite nice. The food I had was all perfectly cooked and tasty. If you have a family then this Harvester is a great place to go.

The food is very good and typical of a harvester. The outside area is a bit shabby and needs attention. The staff are very helpful and efficient.
