Stayed here on the way to Cornwall. Its ideally placed for the M5 and Weston-super-Mare, there's a Beefeater pub next door and fuel stations around so you can fill up if needed. The rooms are on 2 floors with the family rooms on the ground floor. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The staff on the desk were great and helpful. The only thing but it seems to be a Premier Inn thing is the windows are not cleaned!
Nice friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy and very good value. Now Premier Inn make a big thing about how comfy the beds are but that doesn't guarantee a good night's sleep when it's 26°C in the room, 12°C outside and you can't lower the temperature. I went to reception who were apologetic with the only solution to open a window and use the provided fan which when you have allergies doesn't help. It didn't help enough to stop a horrible, frustrating night and after getting about 3 hours on and off and waking absolutely knackered.
Great hotel. Loads of parking. Slightly frustrating to get to reception where staff are great and helpful to be told your on the annex so have to go back out into the elements to your room for a few minutes to get to the add on. Also moved car as easier. Premier inn so great roomsRooms: 5/5
Rooms are very clean & quite a reasonable price. But, the Beefeater restaurant was disappointing. Hubby's meal was very good however mine wasn't. I had cremated lamb chops & an under cooked jacket potato. However, highly recommend the Premier Inn.Rooms: 5/5
Nice clean spacious room, foods good at the beefeater, free parking and walkable into weston super mare. The downside is the rooms are stupidly warm, my little one cried all night because it was 26degrees in the room even with the window open all day n the fan on. This is in October too Only one towel was provided in a double room
Staff were friendly, check in ok, but advised us no need to book the breakfast which, we found out later, not to be true at the Beefeater next door. Family room, was clean enough and all we needed but the kids beds were too hard and the heat, wow, so hot even with the window wide open, heating turned down it never went below 26° c. I stay in Premier inns a lot on my own through work and I've never encountered such a hot room. We all had bad sleep, definately no sleep easy I'm afraid, So knocked down a couple of stars, needs to be sorted out. Location is great though.
Unfortunately the room was really warm. Window only able to be opened a tiny amount for obvious safety reasons sadly I discovered how to override that as we were about to check out though No air conditioning, but fan provided. Room was still really hot though unfortunately, so didn't sleep well. Warning... was told that they are moving away from cash which was how I needed to pay. Did accept a cash payment, but needed to provide two forms of ID and had to pay the exact amount as they would have been unable to give me any change. Good value meals in the Beefeater next door!!
Rooms are comfortable and clean but no aircon so gets very warm. Fan was provided though so was nice and cool through the night. Breakfast was lovely as usual.Rooms: 4/5
First the bad: Appalling WiFi, a heater that made so much noise I had to turn it off, no power sockets near the bed, and at least 1 bulb that didn't work. All of those might just be down to that particular room. The good: comfortable bed, easy check-in, free parking and decent location.
Used by lots of contractors, our bathroom stunk of urine on arrival, however the smell had dispersed by the following morning. The corridors also had a strong smell of cannabis. Not somewhere I'd choose to stay again. We had to vacate at 6.15am to get to the Airport, breakfast was included in price of our stay, but service starts at 6.30am, so we missed out
