Favourite cafe in Kirkwall. Good, friendly service and beautiful cakes - even the gluten free ones are delicious.

Underwhelming. It was quite busy at lunch time when we visited.  The service flustered and disinterested. The decor is towards clichéd kitsch.  The menu is standard fare.  The food is well done but won't stick in the memory.  The place is big on tea so maybe it was a mistake to get a coffee which was average at best.  The cakes did look good but we didn't stay to try them.  Tea and cake at a quieter time might show the place in a better light.

Great retro looking place with great cafe food. I'm a regular visitor :)

It is small but very nice and cosy. Tea and coffee is good and so is the cakes.
