Enjoyed a Sunday Beef and Chicken Roast dinner. Been here the first time with my husband to have some relaxing time together. Friendly staff and very good food and drinks around. I loved all the pictures on the wall. Clean tables and clean toilets ! Will visit again if we can. Try it out. It’s on a Round about.
Used as a stop over to Cornwall. Lovely and spacious clean rooms. The staff were all really friendly. We ate at the pub and there was a good choice for everyone. They were really dog friendly too. There is some heathland 2 minutes walk ideal to walk the dog. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.Rooms: 5/5
I absolutely love this cozy pub. It's so friendly, the staff are so approachable. I had a small problem once with my food, a complete accident on their part and instantly they corrected, apologised and made no fuss. I was so grateful, and I have to say their food is amazing! Especially the pizza for me. The atmosphere they have is lovely, warm and welcoming. I have never stayed here but I am pretty sure based on customer service you would have a lovely stay. Great parking too.
Excellent value for money. Children eat for £1 when adults also dine. Food has always been delicious we've been here several times now. The staff are lovely; really, really friendly. Children are made to feel welcome. Recommended!Service: 5/5
Close to Stonehenge was a big plus. Above a nice restaurant. The room was a good size, and had everything you'd expect. Shower was barely a trickle, but was hot. The carpet must have recently been washed in the corridor, and not dried, and smelled very fusty. For what we paid around 50/60 quid for a single night, I was happy. Rooms: Good size. Safety: Room has key lock. Was in a quiet around, but above a busy restaurant. Food & drinks: Restaurant below, great option for food and drinkm Noteworthy details: Free car park opposite, but was full when we arrived, but also plenty of street parking
Nice staff. Terrible food. Stale nachos with ‘melted cheese’ it was a microwaved cheese sauce. My friends had food too and it was pretty terrible. Had some cocktails. Mojito advertising as lime and fresh mint in the drink. It was tonic water with flavouring. For somewhere with such a huge cocktail menu, one would assume they were getting a genuine cocktail. Especially at £8 each. Ended up trying 6 of them with a friend trying to find a nice one and failed. Also they don’t check the app orders. We were encouraged to use the app to order and had to remind them of drinks we had not received, the place was empty too
Went there with my family and I can honestly say it was probably the best pub food I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and me and the family was more than happy. Not only that the service and manners from the staff was outstanding. I will be back 100%.Service: 5/5
We only spent one night in a shepherd's hut, it was basic, but comfortable, although a little cold. We had dinner in the bar and it was really nice and good value. Free parking opposite. Quiet location.Rooms: 4/5
Fantastic place to stay. Lovely & clean. Very friendly & helpful staff. Amazingly good value food. Super close to Stonehenge with plenty of parking. Great value will definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Didn't stay here but ordered 6 roast dinners to be delivered, my daughter highly recommended it. Must say when the roasts arrived on time, opened them up and thought a reasonable portion. Tasted awful, roast potatoes were not fresh, tasted like they had been sat around all day and reheated, veg was carrots which had a tangy taste, peas and sweetcorn and green beans. They looked and tasted like the value frozen vegetables you buy from a supermarket. Also a flat yorkshire pudding. It may normally good food, this was the first time we've had food from here, won't order again. £69 for 6 roasts and was expecting better.
