Story

The Star Inn is situated in the village of Roberttown and only 10 minutes from J25 of the M62.

You can enjoy a great choice of mouth-watering homemade meals throughout the week and on Sunday we offer an all day carvery.

We love cask ale at The Star and we offer 2 traditional hand pulled cask ales for you to enjoy with a 3rd one coming soon!

Fresh Lavazza coffee is available throughout the day and you can also make use of our free WiFi during your visit.

To the rear of the pub is a large beer garden with a bouncy castle for the kids (weather permitting)

We can cater for all occasions in our function/conference room, so if you have a Birthday, Christening or business meeting coming up please call us or pop in for details of what we can offer.

We had the sharing board for Sunday dinner at The Star Pub, Roberttown, and it was absolutely exceptional, the best meal we’ve enjoyed in a very long time! The quality and variety on the board were second to none, with every element cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.nnA huge thank you to the chef for such incredible attention to detail and creativity you can tell real passion went into every dish. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were generous, making it perfect for sharing.nnEqually impressive was the waiting staff. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. I didn't have any food. The service was okay. The atmosphere was nice but nothing to really get excited about.
Coors £4.80 a pint when I popped in mid afternoon one Friday in May 2024. Nice lady outside doing some planting gave me a cheerful hello, I seemed too much trouble for everyone else . I actually thought place was closed but they'd left the door open...
