Decent gastropub. Our group regularly meet and eat here. A couple of pints and three courses is about £30. There's also big screen sports in the bar, as well as a lovely terrace overlooking a river, something for everyone. The owners and staff make an effort. Parking is a lottery, but plenty near by. Recommended.

We found the pear tree on Google as we were just passing close by. I am so glad we did. We both had the two course Sunday lunch, the food was really good and the price very reasonable. Also the staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back here and also recommend it.

Fabulous little spot. Food delicious lovely pub. Can't wait to go back on the summer months and sit by the river side enjoying a cold drink. Don't hesitate visit!

Home cooked Sunday roast is amazing . Friendly atmosphere . Good for food and drinks . Thai food is also amazing with a couple of options as specials and a Thai night on Sundays.  A great local
