Great walk and back to the Stables along the canal banking. Although closed we were among a good few people who were on the path to the Stables. Good old habits never die I guess

Thanks for a great lunch, even under covid restrictions, the staff and atmosphere was really pleasent. Good was amazing and our dog, Alfie, loved his roast chicken. first time visit but not the last.

First visit here a few weeks ago. Fabulous food and friendly service, the lasagne was one of the best I've had. The desserts were also amazing. Lovely big fire made it easy to want to sit here all afternoon. Will absolutely be back.

Nicely laid out for social distancing without feeling forced. The setting on the canal is pleasant. The menu is good with fairly wide choice and the service is effective and competent and friendly. A nice place for an enjoyable meal.

Fabulous. From host to table service the staff were friendly and professional. Top notch food, faultless drinks selection and unbeatable canal-side location. Well worth a detour for.

Great place at the canal path in a lovely location. I usually cycle past it and I finally managed to arrange a coffee with a friend there. We were served by a helpful and hilarious! waiter and the food was good. Will definitely go back at some point.

A very unexpected and delightful place. I had no idea from my arrival through winding farmlands that at the rear was a lovely garden area and canal view. The food was excellent and the service warm and inviting. My new to go place and to top it all off it is dog friendly.

Great location next to the canal. Lovely old pub with wood fire, great food, good bar, and great prices. Has beer garden too. Friendly service. Great for Sunday roast. A rare find.
