It's never too early to start Christmas A lovely Festive meal with friends. Huge portions but oh so delicious! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would've been 5 stars but they got the starter wrong. Simple human error and the starter provided was very tasty, so not an issue. Thanks for a lovely evening
Fantastic service and good food. We popped in for lunch with our toddler and the staff were very helpful, the meal options great, both value for money and tasty. And as a CAMRA pub, they have excellent ale and a good selection of it.
We have family meal upto 15 people and we have a most enjoyable time. We usually go in in a Saturday lunch time so we can all sit together. Everybody happy with the food and the drink. Very hospitable atmosphere anything you want they will provide if possible We all eat different foods and drink but all very pleased at the end of the day. We all arrive by car no problem .
Had a excellent time at the Speckled Hen today. We were a group of 18 adults and had Christmas lunch. The food was served in good time, was delicious, generous and well presented, the staff were friendly and there were no long waits between courses. Definitely recommend.
Came here for Lunch with family recently. The staff were short this particular day but very catering despite how busy it was getting. Food reasonably priced and of high quality, came fairly quickly. Definitely Recommend.
Was recommended to go by my partners God son because its his favourite pub. We had a great meal and a glass or two of the finest apple juice. Would definitely recommend with the same company.
This is a very clean and lovely venue, good selection of drinks and we'll priced food which looks very nice, the Bar lady Jess is exceptional, she has been in her own for the past 2 hours front of house, the pub is relatively busy and she is managing to serve all at the bar aswell as deliver the food to the numerous customers. Amazing effort, 5 star service, hope it's recognised by the management.
Burger reasonable. However, two of the three items on the menu we tried to order were unavailable. Then the salad which arrived looked several days out of date. No plans to return.
Lovely caring staff always ready to accommodate,as I have to stick to low fibre and cannot eat skin on chips,the lovely lady said she would do me fat chips without the skin,very pleasant and delicious food,will definitely be back.
Great value for money. Friendly staff. Good drink options. Fair price. Really enjoyed our visit. Recommended.
