Lovely food as always, I love coming to Bannys! I got the haddock and chips with beans and you can’t go wrong with that! Also had the mozzarella sticks which I always get everytime. One of my favourite places to go and eat!
Fantastic food. The Bombay fish was amazing I'd love to see an option to upgrade your normal chips to Bombay chips to compliment. We had to buy a portion in addition to the chips that come with.

Lovely blue and white nautical themed restaurant next to Boundary Mill. Lots of car parking and some seating outside.nI had haddock and chips with garden peas and my partner gad the Indian fish and chips which was marinaded in Indian spices , battered and coted in yoghurt and chilli's with chips and a madras sauce. The haddock was long but a little on the thin side and a bit greasy. My partner's fish was also a bit greasy. The chips were disappointing, a bit chewy and a few eyes left in. The garden peas were also not as good as most others I've had, they tasted like tinned peas, were not as green or as tasty as frozen. My partner loved his Indian spiced fish and madras sauce, but it's not for those who prefer mild spice.
Order taking was slow, food portions seem to have dwindled massively I seemed to be missing lots of chips!, yet the prices have increased. Food arrived hot, but inconsistencies in sizes of fish as mine was scrawny and burnt yet another was quite big and cooked well. Really wanted dessert but was pressed for time and when asked if I could get the sticky toffee pudding to go, the answer was no! Apparently they don't do that. Disappointing trip all round.
