Food and service were excellent. Eilidh and Alice were delightful. We had chicken fajitas, Thai curry, and a burger. The banoffee cheesecake was out of this world! I would definitely recommend this centrally located restaurant.Food: 5/5
This was a mixed bag for me. The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were amazing, so tasty and so much fun I especially liked the one with the little rubber duck in it However, we had looked on the website the night before and had seen the "market menu" which was 2 courses and a cocktail for £20, when I enquired about this I was told it would have needed to be pre booked. There was no mention of having to pre book on the website and all the choices were already on the menu so I didn't understand why. This meant if we got 1 course and 1 cocktail it was more expensive than that deal. We had more drinks which we would have done anyway but we'd have preferred to have more food and a better price point. I had the burger and chips and I wasn't the biggest fan. The burger came with no sauce or relish or anything so was really dry and the chips were really greasy meaning I left a lot of my dish. I felt £16 for the burger and chips was a bit excessive. My friends had the prawn linguine and said that it could have done with being a bigger portion and more prawns would have been nicer. We all left hungry which wasn't great for the price. The staff were very attentive and friendly though so I think next time we will eat elsewhere and just come to The Social for drinks.

Really enjoyed my experience here. Came in with my wife who enjoyed it just as much as me. Food was tasty, well priced and came in a timely manour. The service was absolutely top notch, we were served by Cara S who was polite, engaged and provided a high quality service, possibly our favourite part of the service. Will be sure to be back!
Had a lovely lunch at the social on Saturday, great food and fun vibes. Our server, Jessica, was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend for a lunch and cocktails !Food: 4/5
Came for the brunch recently and felt the service was pretty poor - we were there for just over 3 hours and much of the time was spent waiting to place orders. We were one of two tables seated inside and felt totally neglected in favour of people seated outside. The food was fine and the drinks were fairly decent, but we actually never finished them - after waiting half an hour for our last drink, we walked out and moved on. The staff were polite but just not very attentive. I just expected a bit better for the price and so won’t be back.
It has a nice atmosphere, drinks are decent, staff are nice and friendly, but the service is horrendous! Waited for 20 min at the bar to get a wine!!Food: 5/5
Lovely food and good vibes on a very busy day. 3 cocktails and food from the brunch menu for £25 a special for the pink gig service was great especially from Skye, Kara & Josh. Will Defo be back.Food: 5/5
