What a lovely pub, great atmosphere. Staff were attentive. We had Sunday lunch and overnight package which was lovely, good choice of wines lovely food. Rooms were good. Dog friendly which a massive bonus!
We stopped here for breakfast while driving through the Cotswalds. Tetbury is a delightful market town.nBeautiful dining room. Friendly , helpful staff.nGood breakfast, with much needed tea and coffee.nWell worth the stop.
Lovely historic old hotel in a beautiful Cotswolds town. The staff are fab, couldn't be more helpful - they're really friendly and fun too. I would love to go back.nnThe rooms are fine, ours will need a makeover fairly soon though. Room service was good.nnThere's no lift, so unsuitable for people with mobility problems.nnFood was very good. Good selection of drinks.nnHighly recommended.
We stopped in for dinner with our 5 month old baby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and so was the service. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that parking is tricky. We parked down a side street and walked about 1/4 mile. Well worth it.
Had an absolutely lovely stay here on a Sunday night. Used up a virgin experience voucher given as a Christmas gift. We were upgraded to a four-poster room, which was massive! There was scaffolding outside the window, which we weren't warned about, and the worker on Monday morning got a surprise . The room was comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of storage space and a comfortable sofa to relax on. The prosecco I'd requested was chilled and waiting for us on arrival. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We booked an evening meal. The lamb rump was delicious. The chicken Caesar salad was good too, but far too many croutons for her liking! Our waiter was attentive and chatty a chap with hearing aids and made sure everything was OK. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the smashed avocado. The full English looked very good too. All in all, it was an excellent experience that I would recommend.
