If I could score this zero for customer service and decor I would. Never got chance to try the food as my husband and I were treated SO rudely by the owners/staff we had no option but to leave the shop. It seems that despite advertising a rear courtyard garden in the shop window and the sun shining with a clear forecast, we were supposed know that the garden was closed as the owners/staff were physically incapable of wiping down one of the cheap plastic covers that had a small amount of residue rain on. The sun had actually dried the chairs off and we had been sitting in them for 5 minutes (despite the fact that the tacky silver plastic was very unforgiving on the back) before the inept owner threw her hands up in the air, practically cried over the wet table top and banished us. We decided to leave as a) we felt humiliated and had been treated like naughty children and b) the decor inside the shop looked like the interior of a 1970s barge. So we left, and had a far more pleasant experience in the beautiful and classy rear courtyard garden of the Orchard Coaching Inn.

We have given one star as there is no option for zero stars. We cannot rate the food or beverages as we left. Having sat at a table for over 5 minutes and been ignored another couple arrived and had their order taken immediately . Our presence was not even acknowledged . Extremely rude owner/staff we certainly will not be returning. The whole ambience was unwelcoming
