I found my new local, a very welcoming inn situated on the shroppie canal, friendly staff, excellent Sunday homemade roast, dog friendly, large car park at the rear.

Happily we discovered this pub re-opened 3 days ago. The new management are welcoming and friendly, the service was top-rate, the ale and coffee were spot on, and Broadside the aging pub dog is adorable. Yes its dog friendly! We'll be back.

Very welcoming staff, great atmosphere. Only popped in for a drink, saw the food going past and was amazed. We will book a meal ASAP there. So good to see it reopened again.

Just what a canal side pub should be - warm, welcoming, serving excellent ales and truly dog friendly. Food is served - I've not tried it yet, but if the food offering is anything like the drink and the ambiance, then you won't be disappointed. The pub is positioned canal side towards the bottom of the Audlem lock flight so take a walk along a very interesting stretch of towpath. Gongoozle at the boats some lovely ex working boats around Audlem when we visited then settle in at the Shroppie Fly for a well earned drink and strike up a conversation with like minded patrons

Lovely canalside pub on the Audlem Locks. Recently had new Landlord and it is very friendly and very dog friendly. Good pub food and good value. Good choice of real ales. Well worth a visit

Great spot on the canal in the lovely village of audlem. Great to hear this pub is back open. Can’t wait to visit again in the van for a stopover with a few ales.

Lovely atmosphere. Great food and great ale. I highly recommend it. The best burgers I've had in the UK so far. They make their own chips in-house and that is a sign that their food is top quality. Their servings are also ample.

Great selection of craft beer, friendly atmosphere. All dogs welcome. Excellent pub.
